Norm Dominguez is the CEO of BNI or Business Network Int’l., which was founded in 1985.  The organization has over 5,400 chapters in 41 countries throughout North America, South America, Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa.  Last year alone, BNI generated over 5.6 million referrals resulting in over $2.3 billion U.S. dollars worth of business for its members.

Mr. Dominguez is a graduate of The University of Colorado. He has been associated with BNI since 1987.  In addition to being CEO, he oversees his BNI franchises in Arizona.  He is a strong supporter of the BNI Charitable Foundation which aids in both children and educational programs.  He serves on the Board of Directors for the LeRoy Haynes Center in La Verne, CA.   He has served as Chairman of the BNI Franchise Advisory Board and has been a BNI District Director for the Rocky Mountain/Southwest Regions.  He is a member of the Founders Circle, which he chairs along with Dr. Ivan Misner, Chairman & Founder of BNI. He is a contributing author in the New York Times bestseller Masters of Networking. 

He resides in Arizona with his wife of 31 years, Sandi. They have three adult children, and two grandchildren.  Mr. Dominguez commutes to California where he works as the CEO for BNI.  For relaxation, he enjoys reading, writing and following the action of the sports arena, particularly football, baseball and golf.  His recreational activities include swimming, golf and exercise.  His key to life comes from Winston Churchill’s famous quote, “Never, never, never give up”.   Remarkable is a key word in his vocabulary, as he believes that life is truly remarkable.

 

 
 

Mark Garbelotto is a Master Trainer and Accredited Licensee with Brian Tracy International, based in Melbourne, Australia.

He has successfully built, owned, managed and systemised several businesses over the last 17 years.

Mark was a keynote speaker and trainer at the 2009 BNI Australia National Conference and his training has been praised at the highest level from Founder & Chairman of BNI, Dr Ivan Misner.

He has since trained hundreds of BNI members at professional development seminars around Australia in cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Townsville and Hobart. His seminars include ‘Mini Eat That Frog – Time Management’, ‘Communicate with Power’, and ‘Selling like a Professional’.

Mark Garbelotto has also been a keynote speaker at the Australian Business Forum and ABITE (Australian Business and IT Expo). He has trained at the Energise Enterprise Victorian Small Business Festival, and speaks on a regular basis for many other business networks. He recently trained the Department of Defence in Canberra and consults to a number of large, medium and small companies.

Josephine Lui is the Managing Consultant of Imagine Image Consultancy, a personal branding and corporate image consulting company. A qualified Image Consultant, she offers both individual coaching and masters corporate training in business image, personal and professional presence, business protocol and communication skills.

John Williamson, Executive Director of the Lowveld region, South Africa.

Having worked in the logistical field for 12 years, John gained vast experience in Operation systems and Human Resource Management. He owned and managed a retail store for 8 years and now owns his own successful Graphic Design Business. He also mentors other business owners, using his skills of Logistics, Human Resources and labour relations
In 2008 John successfully turned the Lowveld region from 3 remaining BNI Members to the fastest growing region in South Africa, receiving International recognition for this achievement.
John was a speaker at the National conferences held in Johannesburg in 2009, Cape Town 2008 and was involved with the Dale Carnegie organization last year.
He was the keynote speaker at the business women’s forum 2010. His talks include a variety of aspects from personal growth & education to personal goal setting, leadership development, gaining confidence in networking functions and creative thinking. Dan Garlick, Executive Director.

I have a background in radio, bullion and commodity futures sales and hospitality services prior to starting my company in 1999.
I have a Diploma in Multimedia.
I left school at the end of 1978 and moved into a magazine publishing partnership with a couple of friends. At the end of 1979 I started working in a store that bought and sold gold and silver bullion and coins. This was an exciting period as I moved to Sydney with the company returning to Brisbane 18 months later. Following that I transferred to Adelaide for 6 months to trade in commodity futures. Upon returning to Brisbane I started working in the hospitality industry for the next 7 years with a one year stint in the commodity futures industry in Sydney in the middle.
I studied a radio announcing course in Brisbane in 1988 coming top of the class and secured my first radio job in Lithgow, NSW at the beginning of 1988.
I stayed there for 2 years and moved back to Brisbane in 1990 to a job in radio there.
In 1991 I moved to Tasmania "for a look" and have now settled here. I started working in radio and then moved into TV voiceovers while running a community radio station south of Hobart.
I started Ozvox Media in 1999 and have not looked back since. I grew the business to a stage where I had 5 staff but upon taking over the state directorship of BNI in Tasmania in 2005, I found I did not have enough time to do two jobs and consequently downsized the firm to where it is now specifically concentrating on audio and video production.
I now act as a media consultant and only take on specific clients.
I also continue to grow the BNI brand in the state region of Tasmania. I have also taken on the regions of South Australia and Regional Victoria to develop the BNI brand in those areas.

 Natalie Alaimo : Websites l Social Media l Referral Marketing
 
Natalie Alaimo is the Director of Brilliant Web Design, a web design and social media agency located on the Gold Coast, Australia. She is also an assistant director with the BNI Gold Coast Region.
 
Natalie's passion is to assist business owners generate more traffic to their websites, build relationships with their clients and ultimately gain more sales. Using a mixture of online marketing, social media and referral marketing this can be easily achieved for your business.
 
After leaving university Natalie commenced her career in direct sales of mailing equipment, where she not only sold the machines necessary for high production of mail but she also assisted business with their marketing to ensure they got the best returns from their mailings.
 
Through this she discovered that marketing was her true calling and went to run the marketing department for the family owned printing business and again assisted business owners to achieve their marketing objectives. Whilst in this role the company moved into online marketing and utilised the mixture of online and print media to achieve amazing results for their clients.
 
Natalie then followed the market and moved her full time focus to online marketing, web design and eventually social media.
 
During her time in the printing industry Natalie was introduced to BNI and was quickly on the leadership team and attending directors training. Along with Peter Fitzgerald, Natalie looks after 12 of the 17 Gold Coast Chapters which consist of approximately 250 members.
 
Natalie is one of the few individuals who were born and breed on the Gold Coast and has no immediate plans to leave. She lives in Ashmore with her partner of 8 years Dean.
